Formación del comparativo y del superlativo:

Los adjetivos cortos forman el comparativo y el superlativo de la siguiente forma:

comparativo : añadiendo -er.
superlativo : añadiendo -est.

Adjetivo - Comparativo -Superlativo

• tall - taller - tallest


• long - longer -longest


• short - shorter - shortest


• happy - happier - happiest


• tender - tenderer - tenderest

Cuando un adjetivo tiene más de dos sílabas:

Se agrega la palabra "more" en la frase comparativa.

Ejemplo: This book is more expensive than others.

En la frase superlativa se agrega la palabra "most".

Ejemplo: That flower is the most beautiful flower in the world.
